The Lord’s mission for IYFM in Haiti is the same as His mission for all of God’s churches, mission organizations, and people – to make disciples of all nations, or literally, to disciple the nations.

Our heart is for Haiti, to bring the gospel of salvation to its people through Word and deed, proclaiming the love of Jesus Christ and living out His Word in Haiti.

Here are the ways that the Lord is working in, among, and through IYFM!

Tom’s House

Reynaldo and Jefflande are the house parents in Tom’s House. Theyhave two sons, Cristiano and Reyj and are also raising another 8-12 boys and young men at any given time!

Tom lives there too and is known by all as Papi! He provides spiritual oversight to the team and the children, and Tom’s days include giving large helpings of loving encouragement to the children as they get ready for or return from school – and the best part, leading evening times of fellowship, Bible teaching, prayer, and fun, all for the purpose of making healthy disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ! These evening gatherings are the highlight of the day for the entire Tom’s House family!

This continues the work of our Founder and missionary Tom Osbeck, who has taken many orphaned and abandoned children into his own home during his years in Haiti, including Reynaldo in 2005. Tom returned to Haiti in late 2025 to share life with his family and the people he loves.
